Club History

Est. 2009

The AFL's youngest club entered the competition in 2011, and while the early years were defined by growing pains and player retention struggles, Gold Coast have steadily built a competitive list under successive coaches. Under Damien Hardwick from 2024, the Suns have assembled a star-studded midfield led by Touk Miller, Matt Rowell, and Noah Anderson, bolstered by the recruitment of Christian Petracca. With the talent now on their list and the backing of People First Stadium, the Suns believe their first finals campaign — and ultimately a maiden premiership — is within reach.
