Adams spent 2022 and 2023 on St Kilda's list before the Gold Coast Suns took him in the mid-season draft, and his long-awaited debut came in a round 17 win over Essendon. The key defender held his place for eight straight matches, his best of them 14 possessions and six marks against Richmond in round 21. He has played 21 AFL games.
