Collingwood's 16 premierships include the famous four-in-a-row from 1927 to 1930 and the drought-breaking 2010 flag that ended a 20-year wait. The 2023 triumph under Craig McRae added another chapter to the Magpies' storied history.

Club History

Est. 1892

Founded in 1892, Collingwood are one of the most polarising and passionately supported clubs in Australian football. The Magpies dominated the early VFL with four consecutive premierships from 1927 to 1930, and their rivalry with Carlton remains the game's fiercest. After a 32-year premiership drought, Nathan Buckley's successor Craig McRae delivered the 2023 flag — a drought-breaking triumph that sent the black-and-white army into euphoria. With 16 premierships and the largest membership base in the AFL, the Pies remain the biggest club in the land.
