De Goey led Collingwood's goalkicking in 2018 with 48 goals, taking the Gordon Coventry Award, and was named in that season's 22 Under 22 team. The 188cm midfielder-forward was part of the Magpies' 2023 premiership team and passed 200 career games in 2026. He has played 204 AFL games and kicked 231 goals.
