Adelaide Oval is the jewel of South Australian sport — a boutique redeveloped venue hosting both the Adelaide Crows and Port Adelaide, framed by the heritage scoreboard, St Peter's Cathedral, and the Adelaide Parklands.

History

Adelaide Oval hosted its first cricket match in 1871 and its first Australian rules football match shortly after. The ground was comprehensively redeveloped between 2010 and 2014 at a cost of $535 million, transforming it into a modern stadium while preserving iconic features including the heritage scoreboard (1911) and the Moreton Bay fig trees. Since 2014 it has been the home of AFL football in Adelaide, previously played at AAMI Stadium (Football Park).
