Club History

Est. 1885

Richmond joined the VFL in 1908 and became one of the competition's most successful clubs with 13 premierships. After a 37-year drought, the Tigers rose from wooden spooners to premiers under Damien Hardwick, claiming three flags in four years (2017, 2019, 2020) led by Brownlow Medallist Dustin Martin. With Hardwick's departure and Adem Yze taking over in 2024, the Tigers are rebuilding with exciting young talent.
