Recruited from GWS at the end of 2022 after 114 games and 42 goals as a Giant, Hopper returned to his best in 2025 — he did not miss a match, led Richmond for disposals, clearances and contested possessions, and finished 3rd in the Jack Dyer Medal. An All-Australian squad member in 2021, the 187cm midfielder is contracted until 2029. He has played 177 AFL games and kicked 58 goals.
