Swadling was Collingwood's second selection in the 2025 national draft, recruited out of Western Australia. A midfielder who wins the ball consistently and moves well through the middle, he debuted for the Magpies in round 15 of 2026 against Port Adelaide. He has played 9 AFL games and kicked 6 goals.
