King raised his 2024 tally of 55 to 71 in 2025, taking the Gold Coast Suns' goalkicking for a fifth time in six seasons and finishing second in the Coleman Medal. The 202cm forward ranked fourth in the AFL for marks inside 50 and 11th for contested marks, and kicked seven majors against Essendon to drive his side into the finals. He has played 143 AFL games and kicked 315 goals.
