About Sam Collins

Collins is one of the game's better second-chance stories, a key defender who has won two Gold Coast Suns club champion awards, in 2020 and 2024, and finished inside the top five in each of the past six seasons. Vice-captain since 2021, he earned a second consecutive All-Australian squad place while ranking fourth in the AFL for intercepts and 10th for one-percenters. He has played 170 AFL games.
