Rowell polled 39 votes to win the 2025 Brownlow Medal, the second-largest haul in the award's history, and added his first club champion award and first All-Australian blazer in the same season. He took the Marcus Ashcroft Medal with 37 disposals, 15 clearances and 12 tackles in the second QClash, and led the Gold Coast Suns into their first finals campaign. He has played 128 AFL games and kicked 38 goals.
