Taken with pick 1 in the 2018 national draft, Walsh had a Rising Star award, All-Australian selection and a John Nicholls Medal inside three seasons. The 184cm, Darwin-raised midfielder added the Gary Ayres Medal as best afield across the 2023 finals series, and now shares the vice-captaincy with Jacob Weitering. He is contracted to 2034 and has played 158 games, kicking 55 goals.
