A 178cm small forward who spent nine seasons and more than 150 games at Gold Coast before a three-way trade at the end of 2025 brought him to Carlton. Ainsworth was one of seven players to pull on navy blue for the first time in Opening Round 2026. A former Vic Country teammate of Harry McKay and Jacob Weitering, he has played 183 games for 167 goals.
