A 182cm Spotswood junior recruited from Footscray in the 2021 mid-season draft, who debuted in a one-point win in Round 3 the following year. Boyd is among Carlton's better users of the ball and can be trusted as a lockdown option; his best season came in 2024 with 19 games. Delisted by Carlton at the end of the 2026 season, he has played 40 AFL games.
