A 202cm defender who crossed from the Western Bulldogs at the end of 2021 — having made his AFL debut against Carlton in 2017. Young spent 2025 as the side's fix-it option, filling in across defence, the ruck and attack, before settling back into the backline over the 2026 pre-season. Delisted by Carlton at the end of the 2026 season, he has played 94 AFL games.
