Fort came home to Queensland in 2022 and spent most of his time there as the Brisbane Lions' second ruck behind Oscar McInerney, until the 2024 Grand Final, when the 204cm ruckman carried the role alone in the club's first premiership since 2004. He won a second flag in 2025. He has played 80 games and kicked 29 goals.
