Ashcroft was the No.1 pick in his draft and debuted in 2023, winning Goal of the Year and a Rising Star nomination in that first season. He then took the Norm Smith Medal in the 2024 Grand Final and again in 2025, back-to-back best-afield awards in the Brisbane Lions' two premierships. He has played 82 games and kicked 42 goals.
