A Western Australian taken at pick 64 in 2023, the Brisbane Lions' last selection of that draft, Torrent spent all of 2025 in the club's VFL midfield with stints at half-forward. He is a physical, balanced midfielder who can play either inside or out. He is yet to play a senior AFL game.
