About the Zebras

Sandringham Football Club was founded in 1929 and quickly became a powerhouse of the VFA. The Zebras held an alignment with St Kilda from the late 1990s through to 2018, during which they won three consecutive VFL premierships (2003–2005). The club plays at Trevor Barker Beach Oval, named for the former St Kilda champion, and returned to fully standalone status when St Kilda established its own VFL reserves.
