An intercept defender who judges the flight of the ball, Walker grew up a Western Bulldogs supporter and joined the club through the mid-season rookie draft. He was part of Footscray's 2025 VFL premiership and wore the No.41 guernsey. The Bulldogs delisted him at the end of the 2026 season. He is yet to play a senior AFL game.
