Thredgold arrived at pick 26 in the 2025 national draft, a 195cm South Australian who started junior football as a ruck-forward before settling into a shutdown key defender's role with an intercepting streak. In his draft year he was judged best afield in the SANFL under-18 grand final, helping Sturt beat West Adelaide. He wears the No.23 guernsey and is yet to play a senior AFL game.
