Biography

Andrew McLeod is the Adelaide Crows' all-time games record holder and one of the finest midfielders the AFL has ever seen. Recruited from Darwin, McLeod played 340 games across a 16-year career at Princes Park — every one of them in the navy, red, and gold of the Adelaide Crows. A two-time Norm Smith Medallist (1997, 1998), McLeod was named the best player on the ground in consecutive Grand Finals — a feat only a handful of players in VFL/AFL history have achieved. Graceful, enduring, and consistently brilliant, McLeod was the heartbeat of Adelaide's premiership dynasty and is the benchmark against which all Adelaide Crows players are measured.
