A Yorta Yorta man drafted by Port Adelaide at pick 21 in 2013, Impey crossed to Hawthorn and became a mainstay of its back six, earning All-Australian selection in 2026. Renowned for rebound running and infectious energy, he has twice been named in Indigenous All Stars squads, in 2015 and 2025. He has played 243 AFL games and kicked 73 goals.
