Gruzewski kicked 26 majors in his first VFL season to finish second at the club, then debuted in the round 15 Derby against Sydney in 2024 with two of his own. The Oakleigh Chargers product, taken at pick 22 in the 2022 draft, went on to win Greater Western Sydney's VFL Player of the Year award and a place in the VFL Team of the Year in 2025. He has played 26 AFL games and kicked 33 goals.
