Stengle won a premiership and All-Australian selection with the Geelong Cats in 2022, and has kicked 160 majors across his last four seasons at the club, second only to Jeremy Cameron in that stretch. At 175cm he is the smallest player on Geelong's list. Delisted by Geelong at the end of the 2026 season, he has played 109 AFL games and kicked 175 goals.
