Andrew McGrath

About

A former No.1 draft pick, McGrath won the AFL Rising Star award in 2017 and was named the 42nd captain in Essendon's history ahead of the 2026 season. The 180cm defender took the Bombers' Bruce Heymanson Best Clubman award three years running, from 2023 to 2025, and the Adam Ramanauskas Most Courageous Player award in 2020. He has played 200 AFL games and kicked 23 goals.
