A Cork man who played five games for Collingwood between 2019 and 2021, Keane was contracted for 2022 but remained in Ireland through the Covid-19 period. Adelaide signed him in the 2023 supplemental selection period and he debuted in that year's Round 20 Showdown against Port Adelaide. The 194cm defender played 21 games in 2024 and signed a three-year extension that September. He has played 66 games.
