Taken at pick 9 ahead of the 2019 season, Jones played his way into Adelaide's Round 1 side as a small forward and finished the year with the Mark Bickley Emerging Talent Award as the club's best young player. He settled on a wing in 2023, where his running and finishing earned a contract extension through to the end of 2026. He has played 100 games and kicked 23 goals.
