Lewis earned his spot through Footscray's VFL programme, playing 19 matches in 2025 including the Grand Final win over Southport, before the Western Bulldogs signed him in the 2026 supplemental selection period, the third Footscray graduate to reach the AFL by that route. He has played 13 AFL games and kicked 15 goals.
