Sellwood was averaging 24 disposals and 8 marks a game for Peel Thunder in the WAFL when the Western Bulldogs selected him at pick 5 in the 2025 mid-season rookie draft. The 186cm defender played in Footscray's VFL premiership later that year, then debuted at AFL level against Brisbane in Opening Round, 2026. He has played 24 AFL games.
