As a 16-year-old, Kennedy took out Ormond's senior best and fairest, and he later finished second in the Sandringham Dragons' award before the Western Bulldogs picked him at 62 in the 2024 draft. A 181cm midfielder able to kick on either foot, he debuted against Adelaide in round 14, 2026. He has played 8 AFL games and kicked 2 goals.
