A quick midfielder-forward raised in Mt Barker, Western Australia, Jones joined the Western Bulldogs from Claremont at pick 43 in 2021. He made his senior debut in round 3, 2023, and was part of Footscray's VFL premiership in 2025. He has played 38 AFL games and kicked 34 goals.
