Murdock earned his AFL chance at 25 through the 2026 supplemental selection period after years of WAFL dominance with East Fremantle, where he was best afield in the 2023 premiership and won back-to-back Simpson Medals for Western Australia. The 180cm ball-winner debuted for the West Coast Eagles in round 1 and quickly became a fan favourite. He has played 20 AFL games and kicked 19 goals.
