A 203cm South Australian ruckman taken with pick 23 in the 2022 national draft from West Adelaide, Barnett debuted against Fremantle territory rivals in 2023 and added a second senior appearance against GWS the following year. He has spent the seasons since sharpening his ruck craft in the WAFL, where his athleticism and marking stand out. Delisted by West Coast at the end of the 2026 season, he has played 2 AFL games.
