Kyle grew up playing rugby and basketball before a late switch to the Sydney Swans Academy, and became the club's first selection, at pick 14, in the 2025 national draft. The 188cm defender-midfielder topped the running vertical jump at the national combine, represented the Allies in all 4 championship matches and kicked his first AFL goal at the SCG in 2026. He has played 11 AFL games and kicked 1 goal.
