A 195cm key position prospect from East Perth, Xavier Walsh joined Port Adelaide with pick 13 in the 2023 rookie draft after wearing Western Australian colours at under-16 and under-18 level. His three seasons at Alberton were spent in the SANFL before the club advised he would not be retained for 2027. Port Adelaide delisted him at the end of the 2026 season. He is yet to play a senior AFL game.
