Selected at pick 73 in the 2016 national draft, Larkey served a VFL apprenticeship before claiming the full-forward post in 2019, and has since topped North Melbourne's goalkicking five times. His 2023 season brought 73 goals — 9 of them in a single game — and an All-Australian blazer. The 198cm spearhead was named club captain for 2026. He has played 157 AFL games and kicked 323 goals.
