Drafted from Gippsland Power with pick 31 in 2019, Comben is a 199cm tall who has found his home in defence after arriving as a raw key-position prospect. His run of fractures — he has estimated breaking more than 20 bones — has never softened his front-on style. He debuted in Round 22, 2021 and has played 70 AFL games, kicking 9 goals.
