The son of former Melbourne ruckman Jeff White, Kalani is a 201cm prospect athletic enough to split his time between the ruck and the forward line. He developed his craft with the Casey Demons in the VFL and wore the No.34 guernsey. Melbourne delisted him at the end of the 2026 season. He is yet to play a senior AFL game.
