Henderson signed with Melbourne only 26 days out from Round 1, 2025, called up after Shane McAdam's long-term injury, and kicked a goal with his very first kick in league football. The small forward had trained with West Coast that pre-season and shares a Werribee premiership with locker-mate Aidan Johnson. Delisted by Melbourne at the end of the 2026 season, he has played 5 AFL games and kicked 2 goals.
