Day won the 2023 Peter Crimmins Medal and Hawthorn's Lethal Award, and made the AFLPA's 22under22 team the same year. Recruited from South Australia at pick 13 in the 2019 national draft, the 191cm midfielder endured an injury-hit 2025 but was voted the club's Best Clubman for his influence around the group. He has played 88 AFL games and kicked 28 goals.
