Bedford was a pick 75 selection at Melbourne in 2018 and requested a trade to Greater Western Sydney at the end of 2022. A small forward by trade and one of the competition's best pressure players, he reinvented himself as a tagger in 2024 and took Adam Kingsley's Coaches Award for it, then played 23 matches again in 2025 for 17 majors and the club's Community Award. He has played 100 AFL games and kicked 59 goals.
