A fractured leg limited Angwin to a single match in 2022, and syndesmosis injuries interrupted both 2024 and the start of 2025. The left-footer worked his way back through the VFL and was recalled against Gold Coast in round 15, then held his place for 10 straight matches including Greater Western Sydney's elimination final against Hawthorn. He has played 50 AFL games and kicked 10 goals.
