Leake won a senior premiership in the Tasmanian State League at 16, then was named an under-18 All-Australian in 2023 after the Allies' national championship win, having played as both a defender and a forward. Greater Western Sydney took him at pick 17 that year, and after an injury-interrupted start he debuted in the Opening Round of 2025. He has played 8 AFL games and kicked 1 goal.
