An academy product taken at pick 59 in the 2023 draft, Thomas debuted in the Greater Western Sydney Giants' Opening Round win over Collingwood and played 22 matches in his first season, earning a Rising Star nomination in round 14 against Port Adelaide. At 176cm his value is in his toughness and his left foot across half-forward. He has played 62 AFL games and kicked 27 goals.
