Daniels missed 590 days with consecutive hamstring injuries before returning in 2023 to kick 26 majors and place inside the top 10 of the Kevin Sheedy Medal. The 172cm forward then led the AFL for goal assists in 2024 and made his first All-Australian squad, and joined the Greater Western Sydney Giants' leadership group the following year. Injuries limited him to six matches in 2025. He has played 122 AFL games and kicked 83 goals.
