Bell came out of the Greater Western Sydney academy and landed at the Gold Coast Suns when the Giants declined to match a bid in the 2024 national draft. The 199cm defender, from Flynn in the ACT, played 14 VFL matches in his first year and took seven marks in the last of them against the club that passed on him. Gold Coast delisted him at the end of the 2026 season. He is yet to play a senior AFL game.
