Miers set the AFL record for goal assists in a home-and-away season in 2023, five years after taking the Geelong Cats' Best Young Player award and a year on from the 2022 premiership. The 179cm forward is contracted to the end of 2028. He has played 171 AFL games and kicked 120 goals.
