Luke came to the Fremantle Dockers through their Next Generation Academy after kicking eight majors in a half for South Fremantle's colts against Swan Districts. He finished top five at the state draft combine in both the 20m sprint, at 2.89 seconds, and the agility test, at 8.08 seconds. He is yet to play a senior AFL game.
