Adelaide took Rachele at pick 6 in the 2021 national draft after he kicked 11 goals in four games for the Murray Bushrangers. He announced himself with five goals on debut in Round 1, 2022 against Fremantle, and has since produced seasons of 23 and 30 goals. He has played 94 games and kicked 138 goals.
